Everything you need to know about finding trusted childcare through Tiny Heroes.
How does Tiny Heroes work?
We take the time to understand your family’s needs, schedule, values, and childcare requirements. Based on this information, we carefully match you with suitable childcare professionals from our network. Our goal is to make the process personal, efficient, and stress-free.
Do you provide occasional babysitting or long-term nannies?
We offer a range of childcare solutions, including long-term nanny placements, occasional babysitting, holiday childcare, travel support, overnight support, and event childcare. Whether you need regular support or occasional help, we can guide you to the most suitable option.
Are the nannies vetted?
Yes. Every candidate goes through a screening process that may include interviews, reference checks, experience verification, and an assessment of their suitability for working with children.
Can we request multilingual nannies?
Absolutely. We regularly work with childcare professionals who speak a variety of languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Italian, and more. Let us know your language preferences, and we’ll do our best to find the right match.
How much does the service cost?
Our pricing depends on the type of childcare support you require. We offer different services and packages to suit different family needs. Contact us, and we’ll recommend the most appropriate option for your situation. All of our prices include Agency Fee and the Nanny Rate.
What is the agency fee?
The agency fee covers the search, screening, matching, and ongoing support provided by Tiny Heroes.
This includes reviewing your family’s needs, identifying suitable candidates, conducting the selection process, coordinating introductions, and supporting both families and nannies throughout the experience.
Agency fees vary depending on the type of service requested. Please contact us for current pricing and service options.
What is the difference between the nanny rate and the agency fee?
The nanny fee is paid directly to the childcare professional for the time and services they provide.
The agency fee is paid to Tiny Heroes for managing the search, screening, matching, coordination, and support throughout the process.
In short, the nanny fee compensates the nanny for their work, while the agency fee covers the professional service provided by Tiny Heroes.
Do families pay the nanny directly?
Yes. Our nannies work as independent freelancers, and families pay them directly for the childcare services provided.
For occasional bookings, payment is typically made at the end of each service. For longer engagements, we generally recommend weekly payment arrangements, depending on the duration and structure of the childcare support.
What happens if the nanny is not the right fit?
Finding the right match is incredibly important. If the placement isn’t working as expected, we’ll work with you to understand the situation and discuss the available options based on the service selected.
Do you work only in Barcelona?
Barcelona is currently our primary focus. However, we are gradually expanding and may be able to assist families in other locations. Feel free to contact us to discuss your needs.
How long does the matching process take?
The timeline depends on your requirements, availability, and the type of childcare support you’re looking for. We always aim to introduce suitable candidates as efficiently as possible while maintaining our quality standards.
Can I contact you by WhatsApp?
